It runs and drives but it misses like crazy not like a bent valve or anything http://s187.photobucket.c...&current=CLIP0389.flv But theres coolant in the oil so we knows its a LIM gasket at least, the thing is there are some metal shards in the coolant, this car has 185,000 miles on it so its entirely possible for the water pump to chew away at its housing and put those shards in there. I'm going to go do a compression test on every cylinder and if they are all good then I'm going to pull the supercharger and LIM and see if its f*&$ed if it is then "Oh happy DAY!!!" but I'm betting on it the problem being something else. I hope the compression test goes good for ya because we all know that a head gasket can also put coolant in the oil and cause miss fires. good luck

Here is why I say that.............. Spun bearing! Now my vid has the speak from the bearing being totally shot but yours sounds the same as it does but in the beginning stages. drain the oil and look through it thoroughly and you can also cut the oil filter open and look through there. Although I didn't have any type of miss-fire either. Best cheap check would be to look over the oil and filter to see if their is any evidence of the bearing wear. So I haven't owned this car for more than 12 hours, a friend of mine helped me after I went through all the B.S. at the bank to get the lien release. I stood outside of it for a good 3 hours just thinking about it, then it began... I have spent a total of 1,230.00$ and I know whats wrong with it I was told it had a cracked head, I had a good hunch that this was wrong 1. overheating 2. loss of coolant 3. milky oil 4. sputtering at idle 5. stupid previous owner... this is what I found The dexcool had eaten through the coolant passage just as we all know, but not in the way that you would think... It ate down instead of sideways and instead of going into the cylinders it poured directly into the lifter valley Bypassing the cylinders completely but still causing some damage, you can't see it too well in the pictures but the coolant passages imploded into a sort of "starfish" shape ( with one leg cut off, for those of you who know that starfish have 5 legs ) Thus we have the conclusion 1,100.00$ car + 100.00$ in parts + 30.00$ for gas + 200.00 for TT&L = 1,430.00$ for pretty much my 2001 Red 2 dr GTP... awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! me vs previous owner... cracked head HAHAHAHAHA!!! I plan draining the oil in a few minutes and then pouring some oil down through the valley to get some of that gunk out of it. As for the motor itself I need some motor flush after the first oil change to get some of the gunk out of the oil pan. All in all I'm probably about 4-5 hours out from it running tonight, I don't think I'm going to work on it tonight I have to go to work and then a party so I'll finish it up either late late tonight or early tomorrow. The knock sensors are a pain in the ass to get too and your supposed to use a torque wrench to install them so you don't crush the crystal inside, huge pain. After I get her all back together I'll get a vid up of her running. If you wanted to drain the block and flush it the right way. The motor is still in the car, as such its too hard to get to the rear knock sensor. I didn't know that its the best way to drain the block but I would think after running that super flush and just running the car with a water hose going that should get alot of the gunk out of it. I'm pretty excited with this whole deal, for the price of 2 of gixers motor I got a whole GTP with an "okay" motor. I can't wait to get started on her..
