Any idea if we are going to be doing a calender again and when? Just didn't know when I needed to start getting pictures ready.

I have sent this message to everyone but just in case you don't know how to check your mail..................

I have been looking into moving the forum to another host that has more features for what we need or have needed in the past from user request. YUKU has not had these or does but they are not as featured as many of the members here have wanted so I have been looking into getting gtpworld transferred over. It is going to be a paid host so it is going to need some help...

Bloopers/problems idea..

I felt this needed some thought, maybe you guys will throw it right out the window. I think that it would be a good idea to have a bloopers/problems/accidents. Topic area I hope you dont feel like I am just joining this forum and then right on to changing things around. I would like to be accepted as a good presence so let me know what you think..? I already have a post for the topic area.. Today, 1/30/09 I was driving the vale flats, for those of you that dont know the west coast it is on...

GTP World enthusiasts,

Just wanted to introduce myself to the forum, I have been a GTP lover for a little over 2 years. I am really getting into the modding scene now, I have always been a ghost on these forums. In fact that is what led me to this one, it has been the most helpful over time. Although I feel like I know what I am doing there are a lot of knowledgeable people on this site and I am glad to have their ear from time to time. Great forum! Hope to contribute!

I have tried to post and get some info but the posts don,t appear and the whole site is confusing . All I wanted is to be able to ask questions . I don,t want to spend a whole day trying to figure this out. The old system was easy but this is a nightmare for someone that has never done this before!!

Like it says, I have now added a FAV-icon. What it is, is a little icon that goes on the window for the address and is also now pictured in your bookmarks.

updating posting a picture

Does the HOW TO post a picture in the OFFICIAL READ FIRST THREAD need to get updated? Those instructions lost me after signing up for a fileshare site. I used the Add Image button / icon at the top.

Mark read problem

I was in the Tuning section reading the last post, when I was done I hit the mark section read thing and it took me out to the main list. The problem is now it is marking the whole thing read, the Horsepower talk section also which I had not read yet. Figured I would let you know...

I also just tried it in the For Sale section, as long as all the sub forums are marked read it does not matter about the man forum.

I was searching for some smilies like one working on a car but I found a whole bunch. Add the ones you want, check out the links because there was a lot more in them plus other good stuff. I might add more later, gotta go to the dentist now...

On the main page where it says how many people are in the chatroom, is there a way to list who is in there without having to open it?

E-mail addresses and name searching

I just happened to notice, before we used to be able to do PM's or if the person listed it, you could e-mail them directly. With the new site there is no way to get peoples e-mail addresses... Also, on most other forums, you are able to search the members list for a particular person. That is not so here. You have to go page by page until you get to the right letter in the alphabet. Anything we can do to rectify these?

Does this new site not send out email notifications when new posts are made? At first I thought it was just because of the new site so all the old links were broken, no problem. But I just posted and had others post after me but I did not get any notification. I looked to see if there was a box to check that I missed but I did not see that option. Am I missing something?

Reference Section

I know Slammed has a bunch of pics of his engine build. With a little work I think we could put together a "reference" section with pictures to help people identify certain parts. Like knock sensors, wheel hubs, other parts under the hood. Stuff like that. What do you think?

I know this forum is old and does not have this probably, but I remember on gtpworld2 that it would show a green light next to someones name if they were online and active and an amber light if they were online and idle and a red light if they are offline. Anyway of working this into the new forum page?
