How to get these black scuffs off my car??

Alright well When i got my car the previous owner backed into something and there are black smudges/scuffs on the rear end and i am hopin you guys know something to help me get these out so i do not have to buy a new bumper... I have tried brake fluid hopin that would work, it did take off a little but not enough to justify the time i spent doing it, it was hardly worth it, i was also thinkin about some carb clean but im worried about it possibly taking off the clear cloat as well. Driver window problems

Anyone out there know whats going on, my driver window will go down but not up. For the last couple weeks it has been hesitant about going up so i would have to hit my door panel where my window switch is and it would work, which is enough evidence for me to believe its a bad switch. it wouldnt be a bad motor though if it still goes down thoes work off of reverse polarity correct?? i took a test light to it and it showed i have no power to the down switch so i tried using a jumper wire to...

Hey guys im lookin into gettin some new rims for my 2000 gtp i was thinkin about 17's or 18's but i dont want anything to over the top. I was lookin into some black ones but in my opinion they look small and it seems like i would have to get 22's to make it look like i have 18's LOL but like i said thats my opinion.. anyway i was just wondering if you guys could give me some advice on a brand or style maybe some links??

question on tranny

the tranny isnt engaging when the car is cold? think this is the pump or possible a clogged filter. once the car warms up it runs normal? any ideas? suggestions. thinking about doing a tranny filter?

Hey guys, I have a problem. Whenever I turn on my heater or AC, it starts making this high pitch squeeling noise. The noise gets louder as i turn up the speed of the fans but the slower they are the quieter it is.. You can hear it on the inside and outside of the car if that helps any. also its a 98.

Swapping out transmissions tonight and tomorrow

Well I am gearing up for a long and hopefully wildly successful transmission swap.

I've known that my tranny is going out for the last 4-5 months and I've only recently found some in the price range that I'm willing to pay for a used tranny.

I found one yesterday and they wanted 325 plus a 50 dollar core charge, its out of an 2000 GTP with 112,000 miles on it and the car was in a wreck that deployed the air bags but the top of the car including the rood, hood...

fuel pump voltages

Anyone have the correct wires and voltages for the fuel pump on a 2000 GTP. Fuel Pump is not kicking on and I want to make sure it is the pump. I have already tried bypassing the resistor but still no luck.

My 1999 gtp grand prix is shaking when i start the car, and when i accelerate the car takes awhile to reach its speed. Iam thinking it could be the ignition coil or map sensor or transmission but not to sure. Any advice would help thanks.

New Motor, But What One?

So my motor is shot, pretty much what Troy said about my bearings going out, so I'm trying to think what I should do if I decide to drop another motor in it. Thinking about getting away from the L67 to try other stuff, maybe whole motor, maybe just N/A shortblock with higher compression. Anyone have any positives and negatives about dropping in a L36 or L26 shortblock and just putting the L67 heads and etc on that, dropping an L32 in with or without the Gen V, idk whatever else is possible.

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong section. I was wondering about the remote car starts. Are there any problems with them? Don't do it? Or anything like that, its starting to get a little colder and I hate scraping or getting dressed just to go start the car, lol yes I'm lazy. Thanks for all the respnses I have had in the past. Not sure what's wrong with it but it's not good, I'll most likely find out today. But the problem started when I was driving around town and stopped at a light, and the rpms jumped at idle. I just thought that was weird but didn't think anything of it. It was still driving fine but then it happened a few more times at idle while waiting for a light. Then the oil light started flashing so I was just like wtf and pulled over, checked my oil and it was still just about full even...

i had idle problems and low boost the car would die, ive replaced MAFS, BBVS and O2S!! the problem?!? A F'ing fuse!!!! one god damn fuse well i guess its my problem for not thinnking of that first poped a new one in and fix everything!!! its was the "IGN 1" fuse 15A

Me my wife and another couple went to Virgina a few weeks back and seen Top fuel, funny cars, pro stock etc. All the big boys and girls were there (Ashley Force). It was great. Tv does not do it justice. 310mph @ 3.9 seconds is something every American need to see. You can feel the power they are just awesome.

DIC problem

The last couple of weeks my Drivers Information Center has been acting up. It will just shut off and then my blower motor and rear defroster wont work and then sometimes it will kick back on. the DIC will get dim at times.I don't really know what is wrong. I'm thinking its a short somewhere but I'm not 100% sure did anyone have this problem too.
