Our local nascar track had a "shine N drag" series they started last night. Me and my WS6 friend went. he did the show and drag I only did the drag, they had pit road setup like a 1/8 dragstrip, and raced like pink's does. My friend was in the street competition class for V8's and was in for 3 runs and got knocked out by a supercharged mustang, I was in the street bandit class and got 2nd!! but was beat by a nicely modified SRT-4 w/ drag slicks! all in all it...

Thinking about a new pulley

I have a 2004 GTP (original owner 64k miles). I've had a cat back on it for quite a while and recently put a K&N CAI on it. Now I'm thinking pulley. Mind you, this is my daily driver, so I need to keep this in mind. I have talked to a tuner in my area about doing his magic, but think that a pulley now would be my best bang for the buck. Open to any and all suggestions. In the Detroit area, maybe find somebody with a puller so I don't have to buy one. thanx.

My buddy has a 2004 monte carlo ss and he just installed a high flow cat and now hes getting the PO420 code which is because the downpipe. So my question is how can he get rid of this code without deleting it out of the pcm?

A couple of weeks ago, I was driving home from work when my check oil light came on. I pulled over into a Kwik Trip, checked my oil and sure enough it was low. I went to the trunk of my car where I kept a spare quarter of oil for such emergencies and filled it up. I ended up putting in nearly a quart and a half. I had to go into Kwik Trip and buy another quart of oil. (This has never happened before.) I felt this was rather odd when just that Sunday, I had checked my oil upon filling it up...

Table Modifier

I decided to try out the table modifier (version 6) and I could only get as far as the importing the file...lol. I looked through the different folder in it but they were all blank but the Edit one. WTF? This thing is suppose to tell you what to adjust with the tune, right? Anyone else figure it out yet? If I could get this to work it would save a lot of time tuning...

Ok i blew two of my Amps tonight, i put them into protection mode!

the first one blew on the way home... just turned off and did not play! i checked the fuse and nothing, it was good! i unpluged the speaker wires and disconected the amp to see if it did anything! no it did not!

so i pluged in a different amp... worked great for like 5 minutes then went into protection mode!!!
im thinking my sub is causing all of this bullcrap!!!!
it started to smell funny latelly...

Rocker Arm bolts question

Has anyone re-used their stock rocker arm bolts?

I am putting a set of heads on and I don't want to take the rocker arms off and I've come to the understanding that its almost impossible to line up the pushrods and bolt down the heads without removing the rocker arms.

I know their 20 bucks from zzp I just didn't know if anyone has attempted this before

i think i have an electrical problem... i just went to the store and on my way back my A/C and the display with the MPG, boost, GAL and all that stuff just shut off then turned back on. it did it a few times on the way home..... has anyody ever had that issue before and know how to fix it..... thaks a bunch
